Senegal: an EPU with the Pharmacy Assistants of Touba

On January 23, 2024, PPM hosted a Post-Graduate Education organized by the Association of Pharmacy Assistants of Touba (A.A.P) under the chairmanship of Aliou Ndiaye, accompanied by Doyen Ndoye, vice-president, Baye Modou, secretary, and Idrissa Guéye, coordinator of the activity.

The main objective of this meeting was to raise awareness of several flagship PPM products such as Panol, Carbotoux, B Vit Fort, Kinafon and KEM Probiotics. The event revealed an exemplary organization of the association, with an office engaged in the preparation of this meeting. One of the highlights was the debate on responsibilities at the counter, in particular welcoming and listening to customers.

This topic aroused keen interest among the participants, highlighting the importance of personal development for pharmacy salespeople. During the session, the products were introduced starting with a reminder of the symptoms of pain and fever, followed by a presentation of the Rhinex range and KEM Probiotics.

Meetings like these are essential to understand the concerns and feedback of professionals on the products offered. They also allow to adjust the offers according to the needs expressed.

The day continued with meaningful visits, including to the Ndamatou health center where Dr. Fatou Niang and her team were met. Two doctors from the Mohamed Fadel clinic were also invited to a dinner to discuss specific pediatric products. They expressed the wish for support for their DEA training at the University of Dakar.
